I'm Dreaming of a Tennessee Summer

The inspiration for this song came from the shock my system is having from going from highs in the 90s and sunny to highs in the 60s and rainy. Please picture Bing Crosby singing this in shorts with his dark dress socks pulled up to his knees as he was in the "Sisters" reprise in White Christmas. It makes it funnier. Feel free to add the bop-sha-bops in the pauses as appropriate.

I'm dreaming of a Tennessee Summer
Just like the ones I used to know,
Where it gets above sixty, and the sun shines nearly
Every, every single day.

I'm dreaming of a Tennessee Summer
With every layer I put on,
May your days be warm and dry,
And may all your summers be Tennessee-like.

I'm dreaming of a Tennessee Summer,
With every umbrella I raise,
May your feet be Wellie-free,
And may all your summers be in Tennessee.

music written by Irving Berlin, lyrics by me :)
