Jehovah Jireh

Living in the UK is expensive - I'm saying this as an objective observation, not a complaint. As such, it is really neat to see how the Lord provides for our needs.

I've needed a haircut for some time now. However, here they charge a base fee, plus more if your hair is long, plus more if your hair is thick, plus more if you have layers, plus . . ., plus . . .

You get the idea. And then the exchange rate has to be factored in.

So I've been putting it off, trying to see how long I could go without breaking down and giving into the highway robbery.

So then . . . drum roll please . . .the Lord gives me a gift! Some friends of a friend crashed at our place for a free place to stay while seeing the sights this past weekend. And you guessed it - one of them cuts hair!!

So I have a new do and it only cost me a box of cereal and a half a gallon of milk! The Lord Provides! And I'm so glad that he does!

Hey Breanne!
Mom gave me the link to your blog and I subscribed so I could read all your posts. Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated. I love the fact that you were able to get your haircut - all for the price of a bowl of cereal! Happy november. I'm sorry you used your last box of american brownies - Next time I see you, I'll stock you up with more American treats :-)
