National Trust

I love the National Trust. It's an organization that manages hundreds of properties of historical and scenic value. With one membership fee you get in to all of them for an entire year. Today, I visited my third one for the year and my membership has now paid for itself. I love a good deal!

With a sunny - and WARM - Sunday afternoon, some of my friends and I headed to Polesden Lacey. It is a lovely estate. In fact, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) spent part of their honeymoon here.

The view from the back terrace. Isn't it beautiful? I love the space.
Wisteria climbing in the old kitchen garden that is now a rose garden. Apparently this is the peak wisteria weekend and this particular plant is over 100 years old.
