An Unsolicited Advert

I used to love snow.  Not anymore.  Especially not when it's been around for a week and is now instead a slick pane of ice that seems to taunt that I can't possibly successfully walk anywhere.

Until . . . .

I discovered YakTrax.  I've had my Yaktrax since my Prague days, but I had forgotten how wondrously fabulous they are.  Once I strapped them on my shoes, I didn't slip around at all.  It was like walking on pavement except there was an extra crunching sound under my feet as they gripped the ice.  As my friend, Pam, said "It's like having snow tires on your shoes!"

So, if you feel a bit unsure of your ability to stay vertical when the ice comes, I strongly urge you to consider giving YakTrax a try.  You will feel much safer!
