Confession: I have a puzzle problem. Specifically, a
Wentworth puzzle problem. Some of you may remember when I
first alluded to this, and since then my enjoyment of these puzzles has grown. Some of the National Trust places we visit have miniature ones that you can get to act as a souvenir. That only feeds my addiction. So, imagine my delight when I discovered that the factory that manufactures them was having an Open House Day. Fortunately, I am not alone in my puzzle craze, so some friends and I hopped in the car and drove two hours to the factory. Seriously, it is the closest to Black Friday shopping I've ever come - and now that I've experienced it on a miniscule level it only confirms that I'll never get out into the actual madness.
For now, you'll have to settle for the Wentworth marquee. If you want to discover the puzzles, come see me!
Bonus for going: beautiful scenery in The Cotswolds.
Cool cottage we saw on the way.
I'm not really sure what this is, but it looks very English . . . so mysterious.
The requisite pastoral scene photograph.
Lunch. Yep, that's a jacket potato with baked beans on top. Very British, plus it's inexpensive and warm on a COLD day!
