A view along the Vltava River.
The Estates Theatre. This is where Mozart premiered his opera Don Giovanni. I saw it here once - on it's 200th anniversary.
More cool buildings. For the record, cobblestone streets are hard to walk on.
The castle in the rain.
The Charles Bridge. I've never seen so few people on it. This was my reward for getting out "early" and braving the rain.
The baby statues. If you remember me talking about the TV tower, these are the babies that crawl up and down it. Bizarre.
Another view of the river - the buildings are so colorful. I can easily see why many think Prague is the most beautiful city in the world.
The castle. I love the budding trees.
The Jewish Cemetery. The Jews were forced to stay in a controlled area of town for centuries and this was the only burial plot that they had. In some places they were buried 10-12 people deep. They would put a new headstone in front of the old one leading to the current jumble. It's very sobering to be there in person.

This is a beautiful post. The baby statues are weird...I don't like the TV tower...Also, I remember many a conversation about the cobblestones. Good thing you had durable shoes!
