Sunday Roast

I finally tried a Sunday Roast, the traditional Sunday lunch meal here in England.  It consists of roasted meat (usually beef, pork, or chicken - I chose the pork), Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, new potatoes, and "veg".  Ironically, Yorkshire pudding isn't sweet or pudding, its a puffy bread that is served with gravy on it (the round things on the top).  The roasted potatoes are amazing, thanks to the hot goose fat that's poured over them before they're roasted.  I just try not to think about that part.  Personally, I prefer my Mom's pot roast, but at least I can say I've tried the traditional Sunday Roast.
