The Biggest Umbrella Ever

The rainy, blustery weather is officially upon us.  Last night as I was walking to the store I saw what may be the biggest umbrella I've ever seen.  It seriously could have been turned upside-down and used as a boat to take me across the Atlantic.  It was huge!

No exaggeration, I could have flung out my arms and not a single fingertip would have been out in the elements.  I could have put it on my head like a hat and even my elbows would have been completely ensconced in its protective cover.  I could have even turned it upside-down, put 2 small children in it with me, taken food and backpacks for all and paddled down a creek on a 2 day excursion.  Can I say "Big Umbrella?"

Thankfully, my umbrella is small and compact because there is no way the one I saw would have fit into my purse, ahem, hand bag, even with all of its Mary Poppins qualities.

Hahaha! I love the very vivid images in this one! Who was using this umbrella?
