Today as I glanced out the window on a very cloudy, grey day I made an observation. The upside to the grey days is that the "loud" flowers are even more vibrant in their presentation. Somehow the reds are redder, the yellows are brighter, the purples are deeper . . . you get the idea.
So, tonight on my walk home while I am enjoying the "it's still light when I walk home" phenomenon I shall look for other flowers and colors that show off the most when the sky is grey.
