Flowers for Erin

My friend, Erin, needs some cheering up. Since I'm so far away - hence the need for cheering up (more to come on that in a future entry) - I'm doing what I can.

Erin, these are for you.

I have no idea what these are, but they are cute and sweet - like you.

Daisies - or probably daisy-like flowers - just make me happy - like you!

Beautiful - like you!

Though it appears dead in the winter, it always blooms again and shows its inner strength - like you.

Open and inviting - like you.

When the forsythia blooms, you know it's time to prune the roses - so it's practical - like you.

Tastefully understated - like you.

Vibrant and alive - like you!

Elegant and refined - like you.

Exotic - it's done some traveling - like you.

Great with friends - like you.

At ease with a crowd - like you.

So, although I am seriously disappointed that we can't go on our trip, I wanted you to know that I'm most disappointed I can't hang out with you. Hope this helps . . . at least a little.

P.S. I need some cheering up too, but this did help . . . a little.

Awww...these flowers were beautiful, and this post most definitely lifted my spirits! Thank you!

I am also most disappointed about not getting to visit. Plan Q: make me a list of "British" things that I could try to accomplish here...and I'll do it while singing songs from "The Sound of Music!" I'll also document, photographically.
