It's a sad fact, but my clothes smell funny. If you've ever lived dryer-less in a damp climate I'm sure you feel my pain. Two years of air-drying where it takes 3 days to fully dry does it. As a result, my clothes have eternal drawer-stink. You know, the smell cotton t-shirts get after they've been shut up inside a drawer for too long? Drawer-stink.
Ironically, my clothes don't typically reside in a drawer. They have a happy home in the wardrobe where I leave the doors open, unless I have company, to allow them to breathe more freely. Alas, it hasn't helped. Neither has the scented fabric softener, the vinegar rinse, or leaving the windows open for more fresh air - which consequently resulted in a stinky popsicle, otherwise known as me!
So here's my new mission - eliminate the drawer-stink. Or at least desensitize my nose for the next seven months until I can hug my dryer and thank it every time I wash a load of clothes.
