Finally

I have finally reached a life goal of mine. For a four day, three night trip I packed only a backpack. Talk about skill.

Ten years ago, I spent a summer in Alaska with two suitcases, a backpack, and a small carry-on bag. After that trip, I vowed that I would improve upon my packing skills and pare down to the bare necessities (please sing Jungle Book song Bear Necessities here).

I think I may have finally arrived. I'll let you know after the trip is over how successful I was.
