Nymans Gardens

After our adventure at the coast, we headed inland a bit to see Nymans Gardens - another National Trust sight - have I mentioned recently how much I LOVE National Trust?

More fuchsia - it makes me happy. It's so whimsical, like miniature dancers!

A view of the path in the Walled Garden. I love the staggered borders with the varying heights and colors of the plants. I think gardening is going to be my next hobby - at least once I have some dirt to plant in.

A pretty pink flower - I have no idea what it is called, but I love the water droplets on it! I guess the first step in the direction of my new hobby should be flower name education.

Hydrangeas - my mom's favorite flower. It took some skill to combine pink and blue blossoms on the same plant.

The large pink flower would be a dahlia. There are many named varieties and they come in a number of colors, sizes, and shapes. My mother and dad raised them, and each fall I had to help dig the bulbs after the first frost.
