I have shamelessly borrowed my blog title from an advertising campaign that I saw some years ago. Since I'm a number person, the slogan stuck. So, here are my numbers and their stories:
365 = number of days I have lived in the UK
114 = number of minutes my washing machine takes to wash a load of towels
60 = lowest temperature in Fahrenheit that I now consider warm
42 = number of minutes of actual travel time (waiting for the train not included) to the nearest Krispy Kreme
39 = number of days since I last ate at Taco Bell
34 = average number of hours it takes a pair of blue jeans to air dry in a damp British climate
32 = number of minutes my oven takes to cook a frozen pizza
16 = number of scarves I have acquired since attempting to dress European
15 = average number of miles I walk each week as a form of transportation (not for exercise!)
14 = number of times I have watched Anne of Green Gables since moving overseas
13 = number of slices in a store-bought loaf of "medium" bread (it drives me crazy that's it's an odd number!)
9 = number of long-sleeve t-shirts that constitute a "full load" of laundry
8 = number of Multigrain Cheerios boxes I'm currently hoarding
7 = number of countries I've been to in the last two years
6 = number of pairs of shoes I have worn out since moving across the pond
5 = number of times I check my email each day to see if anyone wanted to say Hello!
4 = number of sweaters I despise because I've worn them so much
3 = number of layers worn September - May
2 = number of minutes it takes for my electric kettle to boil 5 cups of water
1.52437 = number of US dollars it takes to equal 1 British pound
So, what are the stories for your numbers?
