Hiya!!

Hiya is basically the British equivalent of the American "Hey, how's it goin'?". The only problem is that every time I hear or say it all I can think of is the song that Chris Rice taught us when I was probably in junior high - any other Martin peeps remember the Focus on the Father Wednesday nights where he would come? Please jump with me as you sing.

Hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya,
Hiya, hiya, lift up Jesus hiya;

Lowa, lowa, lowa, lowa, lowa, lowa,
Lowa, lowa, push the devil lowa.

Hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya, hiya,
Hiya, hiya, lift up Jesus hiya.

Okay, so I know that it's really "high-a (er)," but it just reminds me so much of Hiya. Maybe it's a God-given subliminal message.

Hiya!
